Helping the homeless this harvest time
Hayes Town Chapel and the Youth Club support London City Mission’s work for the homeless of London at their Webber Street location. We are making a collection and will be taking them what we collect at the beginning of October.
Webber Street relies on donations of long life, non perishable food items to provide for the breakfasts we serve to our guests. We would be very grateful for the following Harvest gifts:
- Baked beans
- Granulated sugar
- Brown Sauce and ketchup (no glass bottles please)
- Tea and instant coffee
- Salt and pepper (small shakers for tables)
- Trainers (no suit shoes)
- Jeans (mostly 32/34/36 waist)
- Tracksuit bottoms
- Sweatshirts / jumpers
- Casual jackets
- Winter coats
- Ladies knickers and bras
nb. We don’t need suit jackets, suit trousers or shirts.
- Bars of soap
- Shower gel
- Sleeping bags
- Toothbrushes (but not toothpaste, we have plenty)
- Shaving foam
If you would like to contribute, please bring your gifts to the Youth Club on Friday 18th or Friday 25th September.
